About TWO Paint Studio Workshops

Two Paint Studio is happy to offer year round workshops. Accomodations are available upon request and spaces are limited.

For those of you who would like to break away from the studio and paint en plein air, meaning done on location out of doors, as opposed to in the studio, these workshops are designed to do just that.

The workshops will focus on techniques involved in painting on location. We will start with some basics like setting up your easel as well as what to expect while painting out of doors and handling the challenges of mother nature and the ever changing light. We will concentrate on understanding and simplifying shapes, balancing warm and cool colors, judging values, controlling edges as well as over all composition and design.

For Ken there is nothing more rewarding and challenging than painting under an open sky, surrounded by the scents and sounds of nature, along with it's ever changing color harmonies to excite one's creativity.
